The last stitch....

 as we get very close to finishing it.

I added a few stitches as well. The big question was though,

WHO to weave the last one??

Then, who should walk through the door but the tapestry artist,
 Jackie Addenbrook and Jill Hartles, the Tapestry Chairperson.!

Jackie and her friend Jill Hartles were meeting up with Jill's sister
 and they came to check the progress. We ask Jackie if she
 would do the honours in weaving the last stitch on the tapestry.

The timing couldn't be more perfect, actually

It was a bit of an emotional moment for Jackie...

It really was very special to have Jackie weave those last stitches
and lovely for her to see her artwork come to life as a tapestry.

So now all we need to do is the top hem 

which will measure 10 cm in height.

Not much to do now!
